Too hot to exercise outside? Strap on your sneakers and learn how to get fit at the Moorestown Mall.
The Lourdes Mallwalkers Club will hold three 10-minute sessions Monday on exercising with resistance bands and chairs.
The mini classes, scheduled for 9:30, 10 and 10:30 a.m., show participants how to increase bone density with resistance band training. The exercises can combat osteoporosis and improve one’s posture, flexibility, circulation, balance and range of motion.
Classes meet by the mall’s entrance by Chipotle , which is between Sears and Macy’s . The classes are free, and Lourdes will provide the resistance bands. Registration isn’t required, but it’s recommended that participants dress in comfortable clothing.

Resistance bands are great to incorporate into an ab workout. I would suggest Billy Blanks' BootCamp Elite video Rock Solid Abs. He uses resistance bands that are pretty cheap ($15 a pair) and the entire workout series is designed around the bands.
