A GROUP of York daredevil bungee jumped iconic Transporter Bridge in Middlesbrough to help raise thousands of pounds to help the paralyzed mother Debbie Plowman Haxby.
The jump was organized by Rachel Zalewska-Wilson, 26, of Acomb, who danced with Debbie until she broke her neck, severely damaging the spinal cord, when she fell on her head during an exercise class pole-dancing in a studio in New York in December 2009.
Rachel, who works in event management and is also a swimming instructor at Roko, said others who took part were to jump 170ft Sinead MacMahon, Matthew Dickenson, Bob Unsworth, Jack Unsworth, Ben Faulks, Nick Birkitt Cottle and Susan, all of York.
